The story of Shahdawood Batakundi began in 2014, when Aamir Lughmani set out to build a small summer house for his family — a quiet retreat surrounded by the mountains of the North.
What started as a private dream soon grew into a monumental vision: to create a place where heritage, design, and nature could exist in perfect harmony.
The Vision
With unwavering commitment and the Grace of Allah Almighty, Aamir Lughmani personally led and shaped every stage of Shahdawood's development. From architectural planning and material selection to supervision, he poured his time, resources, and heart into every stone that stands today.
Determined to achieve excellence, he brought together the finest craftsmen, engineers, and designers from across Pakistan, and sourced unique stones, woods, and mosaics from distant regions - ensuring that every detail reflects authentic and timeless artistry.
"When I first stood on the land that would become Shahdawood, I saw more than mountains and stones — I saw a vision waiting to be built."
What began in 2014 as a small family summer house has grown step by step into a grand architectural expression of faith, memory, and beauty. Every wall, mosaic, and pathway was shaped with intention — to preserve our heritage, to celebrate the Northern spirit, and to create a place where future generations could feel the same peace my family once sought in these valleys.
I am grateful to every craftsman, engineer, and dreamer who shared this journey. Their hands and hearts helped turn an idea into a living landmark. Shahdawood is not just a property — it is a reflection of time, love, and belief that with sincerity, even the impossible can be built.
